RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Opportunity to contribute to ongoing research on mechanical signaling in healthy and diseased heart muscle cells
- Use of state-of-the-art molecular, biophysical, and imaging approaches
- Encouragement to pursue own research ideas
- Opportunity to develop an independent scientific profile
- Possibility to acquire funding to support future projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly motivated and qualified scientist
- PhD or MD degree in physiology, biophysics, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline
- Experience in cardiac or skeletal muscle research and a strong interest in mechanobiology and translational cardiovascular research would be advantageous
