RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Opportunity to contribute to ongoing research on mechanical signaling in healthy and diseased heart muscle cells
  • Use of state-of-the-art molecular, biophysical, and imaging approaches
  • Encouragement to pursue own research ideas
  • Opportunity to develop an independent scientific profile
  • Possibility to acquire funding to support future projects

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Highly motivated and qualified scientist
  • PhD or MD degree in physiology, biophysics, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related discipline
  • Experience in cardiac or skeletal muscle research and a strong interest in mechanobiology and translational cardiovascular research would be advantageous
