The project is based on state-of-the-art embedding and ultrathin-labelling protocols including high-pressure freezing (HPF), freeze substitution (AFS), cryo/room temperature ultramicrotomy techniques and analysis with our TEM Libra 120 electron microscope.

Ideal candidates will hold an above-average Master's degree in a related subject and have already shown a strong motivation for basic science. Prior experimental experience with the nervous system, immunohistochemistry or electron microscopic techniques is an asset.
