To meet our high standards every day, we are looking forward to your scientific expertise at the Institute of Physiology II. Here, we work on research projects focused on immune cell biology and experimental physiology – ideally with you on board!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independent maintenance and expansion of mammalian cell cultures, and primary isolation and preparation of immune cell populations from mouse bone marrow, blood, spleen, and tissues
  • Preparation of biological samples for molecular, imaging, and functional analyses
  • Computational analysis and quantitative evaluation of microscopy data
  • Support of experiments involving mouse models, including tissue processing and experimental documentation
  • Application of standard molecular and protein biochemical techniques, including PCR and genotyping, protein analysis by Western blot, flow cytometry-based analysis, protein purification procedures

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Completed training as Medical Technologist (MT), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) or equivalent qualification
  • Practical experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques
  • Proficiency in English, as the team primarily communicates in English
  • Previous experience with animal-based research or immune cell isolation is advantageous
  • Structured, reliable, and independent working style with strong organizational skills
